The Gmktec K8 Plus is a great mini pc. The Amd Ryzen 8845hs is currently a great pick balancing performance and cost. It has ample expansion possibilities with 2 x pcie gen4 nvme drive slots as well as an Intel WiFi 6 card supplied as standard. Dual ethernet and dual USB 4 gives great flexibility in connectivity. For those wanting more than the 780m iGpu can deliver, the front panel also has an Oculink port for external gpu connections. I'm running 2 x 48gb Ddr5 5600 sodimms and a netac nv7000 2tb nvme ssd. The system in this configuration is exceedingly fast and responsive and the cooling is not noisy or intrusive at higher CPU loads. I've tested this with both Windows 11 and multiple Linux distributions including Debian, Ubuntu, Arch and Alma Linux, all installed and worked just fine, device drivers were all found. I now have 3 of these devices on my home network doing multiple tasks and I'm very happy to buy more. Overall exceedingly happy.
